To find the final piece of the Explorer’s puzzle, 22STUDIO invited our favorite and most trusted premium Taiwanese handmade strap brand, Ted Su Straps, to collaborate once again. 
Our relationship with Ted Su began in 2017 during our Zeczec crowdfunding project. Years later, we return to collaboration once again, choosing Ted Su’s classic design — the Trapezoid pin-buckle leather strap. Crafted from premium cowhide supplied by the century-old British tannery J&E Sedgwick, the strap features a distinctive trapezoidal profile and single-layer construction. With a substantial 4mm thickness, it expresses both the raw nature of leather and the limits of traditional craftsmanship.
Unpolished and uncompromising in structure, the strap is direct in line yet comfortable on the wrist, balancing flexibility with presence. We believe this is the ultimate strap choice to complement the 22STUDIO Bronze Explorer.

At a certain stage, you realize that internal conflicts don't always demand a victor. You can pursue your ambition while knowing exactly when to step back—standing solid between the two.
This restructures the weight of time. For us, this isn't just a design evolution; it is about engineering a solid anchor point for your daily life.
If the original 4th Dimension Spiral Staircase symbolized a "breathing space" for the busy urbanite, the all-new Duo confronts a more fundamental challenge: Balance.
Modern life often oscillates between extremes—outer versus inner, career versus family, reason versus emotion. The Duo focuses on that precise moment of stability amidst the movement.
True balance requires no sacrifice. It is not about choosing one over the other, but about attaining both.

The Dual Spiral: A New Equilibrium
With Stoic concrete, we constructed two corresponding spiral staircases. This is more than a structural addition—it is the philosophy of the "Duo."
These stairs embody forces that seem opposite yet coexist. They spiral elegantly, never intersecting, yet perfectly aligned in the same space. Neither dominates the other. Instead, they achieve a state of ultimate geometric stability.
The raw texture and weight of the concrete lend the watch a quiet confidence. As the hands flow between the stairs, you realize that true calm doesn't come from escaping the chaos, but from inner order.
The Duo speaks to this truth: No matter how extreme the outside world becomes, holding this balance allows you to forge a solid self within the flow of time.

Our Most Significant Evolution. A New Era for the Concrete Watch
To integrate the mechanical watch seamlessly into daily life, we redesigned the 4th Dimension from the inside out. The case diameter is streamlined from 45mm to 43mm, and the body thickness reduced from 14.5mm to 12.5mm*. This retains the signature spatial depth of the series while significantly upgrading wearing comfort.
Gaze at the new watch, and you see a piece of Brutalist architecture standing on your wrist. Concrete, stainless steel, bronze, and leather—diverse materials presented in their raw, honest form.
The newly added Box-shaped Sapphire Crystal enriches the play of light and shadow, adding a layer of harmonious, retro charm. We offer three distinct colorways, tailored for three different types of urban travelers.
(Note: Total thickness including the crystal is reduced from 14.7mm to 14.5mm.)
